We originally met at a mutual friend's Fourth of July party in 2015. That following January, I had just gotten back from England and wanted to spend the day in Old Town. I knew Chris lived in the area so I asked him to meet me out to watch football. I didn't think much of it as we had spent time together in a group with other friends. Later that night and to my surprise, he sent me a message on Facebook telling me that he liked me. A couple weeks after that a group of us were at a concert and he asked me out on a date. Three days later we went to an amazing Italian restaurant and had such a nice time. I walked out of there knowing this was going to be something special.

We were in Ireland for my cousin's wedding. I wanted to take Chris around to where I lived and where we would spend time as kids. It was a gorgeous day so we stopped at one of my favorite places, beautiful Dunworley Beach. We were taking a few pictures on the rocks overseeing the ocean and I wanted one more before moving on. As I turned around, Chris was on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes! Come to find out, this is the same beach where my parents had their first kiss so it made it that much more special. We could not be more excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
