This love story began on August 24th, 2019 when Maurice and Candace met at a coworkers birthday party. Maurice almost didn't attend this event as he didn't have the required All White attire. At the last hour Maurice secured an outfit from a friend and came to the party alone. Candace arrived with a date and sat with friends near the back of the room. Maurice not knowing anyone at the party saw some empty chairs at a table and asked if he could have a seat. 


He was welcomed to the table and greeted by the most beautiful big brown eyes he had ever seen. Although he tried not to look her way so that he wasn't disrespectful to her date, Candace's beauty and energy pulled him in. They both left the party rather early and not much conversation was had. However, Maurice thought about her all weekend and devised a plan to get to know her better come Monday morning.


 Nevertheless Candace had plans of her own and sent Maurice an email saying hello. That was all the encouragement Maurice needed to make his move. And that my friends is how the fairytale began.
