We are so grateful you’re traveling to Hudson, NY to celebrate with us at the Basilica Hudson — it truly means the world. October is peak foliage season in the Hudson Valley, so accommodations tend to book up quickly. We recommend reserving your stay as soon as possible. Please note that some hotels only release rooms about three months in advance. A few options are already available to book now, and we’ll send an email as soon as additional hotel reservations open so you can plan accordingly. Many hotels in Hudson require a two-night minimum. We’ll be hosting a welcome event on Friday night and would love to celebrate all weekend with you, but we completely understand if you’re only able to stay Saturday night. If that’s the case, there are select hotels and local Airbnbs that offer one-night stays. We suggest booking as close to downtown Hudson as possible to be near the festivities.

Train

Amtrak

Getting to Hudson via train is easy. Amtrak runs directly from NYC to Hudson in about 2 hours, dropping you right in town — walking distance to many hotels and our venue. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride up the Hudson River. We recommend booking Amtrak tickets in advance.

Flight

Albany

Flying in? You’ve got great options. You can fly into Albany International Airport (ALB) — just a 35 minute drive to Hudson, or about 25 minutes by Amtrak from Albany-Rensselaer Station. Of course, flying into NYC airports (JFK, LGA, or EWR) is also easy, with direct Amtrak service straight to Hudson for a smooth, car-free arrival.
