It all started on September 24, 2022 at a Tchami concert (a French DJ) at the Academy night club in LA. Christine was on a mission to meet a cute boy but her feet were killing her and she wanted to go home, but fate had other plans. She stopped for a drink at the back of the club and decided to hang back there for the rest of the night. A few moments later, Andrew was introduced as "super single" by some friends and that's when Christine said "hello!" Andrew asked Christine's name and she responded "Christine Newman, but I'm not Jewish" (there's context, ask us about it!). Then Christine asked, "What's your name?" Andrew said, "Andrew Bjork." Christine asked, "What do you do for work?" Andrew said, "I'm an engineer, you?" Christine said "Real estate." And the conversation carried on... At one point Andrew went to the bathroom and Christine assumed she would never see him again. A few minutes later he tapped her on the shoulder and she threw her phone at him so he could put his number in. Over the next hour or two Andrew and Christine learned a lot about each other: Andrew shared that he wasn't from the area, but visiting. Christine learned that not being from here but visiting meant he lived just 1 hour away. Andrew shared he was super old and assumed Christine was super young. And the rest was history. That week, Andrew and Christine went on their first date in Manhattan Beach where they met half way. They've been inseparable ever since.
