Hike Mt. Baker (where Andy & Mary met!)
If you're looking for a shorter hike to view the fall foliage from the best angle possible. In that case, we recommend Mt. Baker, located right in Saranac Lake. The trailhead is the same place Mary & Andy met and where Andy proposed! Experience this 1.6-mile out-and-back trail, generally considered a moderately challenging route. It's accessible, and despite a few steeper points, it's a beautiful option for novice hikers!
Fall Foliage Gondola Ride
Get gorgeous views of the famous fall foliage without the workout! We recommend that anyone who has yet to visit the Adirondacks in the fall check out the gondola ride to a beautiful lookout point on Whiteface Mountain.
