We met at a coworker's secret get-together during Covid 8/15/20, 5 days after I arrived in Salisbury, Maryland for grad school. I walked in the door and said to my roommate at the time, "that guy is cute, he's going to be mine!" We hit it off and never stopped spending time with each other since. Our first date was a beautiful picnic and we realized after about 2 months we were each other's 'forever'. At first, Michael didn't want to say 'I love you' because we hadn't been dating long, so he would write me cute love notes signed 'a lot a lot'. After 3 months, we realized we never wanted to be without each other again. January 2021 started our journey of 3 years worth of long distance. We never stopped trying or loving one another and always made it work. They were the toughest times we had together, but because we loved each other, we made it work.

Never in my life did I think I was going to be proposed to in Greenville, North Carolina! Michael and I found out we were pregnant with our baby seashell May 21, 2023. The day after Michael found out about the pregnancy, he had already begun planning the surprise engagement so I could be fiancé for a month before becoming a wife. June 3rd 2023, Michael asked me to get dressed up and no questions asked. I had a feeling the engagement would be happening, but had no idea where or the details about it (I hate surprises and usually find them out- LOL!) We went to the park in downtown Greenville and as I looked in the distance, there was a beautiful picnic setup that mimicked our first date. As I realized what was happening, I immediately got emotionally happy. It was a dream proposal from my dream man! After I said yes, our parents started appearing out of the trees/playground walking towards us. It was perfect. People around us were clapping, and I noticed the secret man (our photographer) taking pictures of the whole thing. It was a dream, and we couldn't have been happier! We had been wanting to get married for about 2 years, but didn't want to plan a wedding over FaceTime. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to get married at the Jersey Shore, and Michael has always wanted a small wedding.. so, we had a beautiful small intimate wedding on the beach July 3rd 2023. It was the best decision we ever made, but we can't wait to celebrate with you, which is why we are doing it all over again!!! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
