Breakfast at Another Broken Egg is hard to beat! Try the Shrimp and Grits, any of the variations of Eggs Benedict, or the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese pancakes! We have ordered everything above and more- nothing has ever disappointed!
Bardog Tavern
This small bar is a Memphian favorite! The food is delicious and so are the drinks! Have their signature Club Sandwich or have The "Rambo" to try Aaron's favorite.
Central BBQ - Midtown
The reason you traveled to Memphis in the first place! Ya know lol... other than our wedding! But seriously this is our favorite overall BBQ in the city- BBQ nachos, pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs; IT'S ALL GOOD! But our #1 piece of advice is do not pass up on the SMOKED WINGS- get them Honey Gold and get ready to thank us!
Elena's Taco Shop
Cheap eats that do not disappoint! Elena's Cali- style tacos and burritos are some of our favorite food in Memphis! The Grilled Surf and Turf Burrito with extra secret sauce is both of our favorite!
Gibson's Donuts
Alton Brown said these are the best doughnuts in America!! AND WE HAVE TO AGREE! Glazed, Red Velvet, World's Fair, Bavarian Cream, and the Apple Fritter should all go on your list of must-haves!
Hueys - Germantown
Memphis born and bred- this hamburger joint has so many different locations that you're bound to be close to one during the weekend! We love this place because the food is great and it rhymes with Aaron's last name! When you visit, grab Mary Kate's favorite, the Bluff City Burger or Aaron's favorite, the Old Tyme A1 Burger! And before you leave, make sure you get some of their AMAZING ranch for that side of fries!
Muddy's Bake Shop + Coffee
If you are hankering for something sweet and a great cup of coffee, try Muddy's cupcakes! This local favorite is has a cute cottage-esque feel to it all the way down to the gnomes on the plates and cups! Everything is this shop is good, but Mary Kates favorites are the Prozac cupcake and the Pucker Up cupcake!!
Soul Fish Cafe
Po'boys, catfish, and more just steps away from the hotels we reserved! Aaron loves all the po'boys- especially the Peacemaker or have Mary Kate's favorite: blackened shrimp tacos. Both are sure to please!
