When should I RSVP by?

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update the headcount with the venue and caterer.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We’d love for you to dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire! Think dresses, jumpsuits, or suits but comfortable enough to enjoy dancing and celebrating with us. Since this is an outdoor venue, we recommend block heels or flats (no stilettos, the grass will thank you!).

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM sharp. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Are kids allowed?

We kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our immediate families. We love your little ones, but we are excited to celebrate this special day with just the grown-ups!

What is the best way to get to Spring Lake Winery?
Answer
Spring Lake is a bit off the beaten path, so GPS is your friend! Watch for winery signs as you get close, it can be easy to miss the turn if you're chatting or jamming out in the car.

Yes! Spring Lake has a large on-site free parking lot.

What is the weather usually like?
Answer
Early September in Lockport is typically comfortable with temps around 70°F–80°F, but it can cool down in the evening. Please bring a light layer just in case—it’s Western New York, after all!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors by the lake. The reception will be held inside the pavilion, which is covered but still has an open-air feel.

What happens if it rains?

Spring Lake Winery has us covered—literally! We’ll shift the ceremony to their covered pavilion if needed. Rain or shine, we’ll celebrate.

Will there be food and drinks?
Answer
Absolutely! We’ll have cocktails, wine from Spring Lake, beer, top shelf liquor, soda, juice, water and a full dinner with dessert. Come hungry and ready to toast with us!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We’re having an unplugged ceremony so we can all be present. Please put phones and cameras away during the “I dos”—we promise to share professional photos later!

Can I take home wine from Spring Lake?
Answer
Yes! If you love the wine, Spring Lake sells bottles on-site. Feel free to grab some for home.

What if I have mobility issues?
Answer
Spring Lake is accessible, but is partially an outdoor venue with gravel paths and grass. If you need special seating or assistance, let us know. We are happy to help make you comfortable.

Can I take photos around the property?
Answer
Yes! Spring Lake has some beautiful spots like the lake, vineyard and gazebo, so feel free to snap some photos -- but please stay respectful of the photographer and wedding timeline.
