Our Story

On Friday May 22, 2009, our love story officially began. Both high school juniors at Prospect High School, Javier asked Madison to be his girlfriend.

Senior year, here they are during spirit week.

Senior year, Javi and Madi took pictures at the San Jose Rose Garden **Which became a very special place for a whole new reason 9 years later**

In 2010, the two walked together for their high school graduation and now they are counting down the days until they get to walk down another special aisle!

They bonded over their love of soccer. Javi was a star player and captain in high school, while Madi cheered him on from the bleachers.

They love to go on adventures together. Here is the couple in Disneyland!

While soccer is Javi's favorite sport, he learned to love Madi's favorite team, The San Francisco Giants!

They always support each other through life's big moments. Here they are at Madi's graduation from San Jose State University.

Madi's sweet tooth led them to the Museum of Ice Cream... Javi's sweet tooth led him to Madi ;).

Both Madi and Javi are firm believers that family is most important. Here they are celebrating at Madi's older sister Megan's wedding to Brother-in-law David.

While Javi normally loves rap and hip hop, Madi and Javi both love Dan and Shay. ** You might even here them at the wedding **

On their 10 year anniversary, Javi led Madi to the San Jose Rose Garden where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him in front of their immediate families.

After the proposal, Javi took Madi to Shadowbrook in Capitola to celebrate.

In 2019, Javi earned his bachelors degree from San Jose State University. Madi was his number one cheerleader.

COVID19 changed everyone's lives but it couldn't stop these love bird's spirits. Madi's older sister Megan, brother-in-law David and nephew Derrick set up a surprise mini engagement party.

Engagement photos were a blast. Here they are dancing around in the Palo Alto Cactus Garden.
