Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors; however, there are indoor accommodations for the ceremony should there be any inclement weather. The reception barn is enclosed and climate controlled.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests be seated 15 to 30 minutes prior to the commencement of our 4:00 p.m. wedding ceremony. Please note: If you are coming from Williamsburg /Charles City into Prince George across the James River, please be aware that the Benjamin Harrison Memorial Bridge is a lift bridge and can cause 10-15 minute delays. Please allot 15-20 minutes in case this occurs on your drive. Thank you!

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking attendants to direct you to the correct location.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire- Women: Please wear cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits, and men: please wear suits or dress shirts with dress pants, or a blazer with khakis.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

While we love your kids, we have decided to keep the wedding an adult-only event. We kindly ask that you only attend the wedding with those listed on your invitation. We hope you understand and are still able to be there!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking pictures and videos until after the ceremony is complete. A photographer will be there to capture those precious moments. After the ceremony, we would love for you take pictures and videos of the rest of the evening!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will not be providing alcohol and we ask that you refrain from bringing your own. Thank you!
