How we met

February 15, 2013

We met through some mutual friends at the time at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. Both of us just there for a good time. Between the thrill of zip lining, the jokes and the great conversations thereafter we knew that there might be a spark. A few weeks passed and Adrean had set up a kickball game at one of the local parks. We had a group of friends and very competitive spirits. I showed up to the game unknowing that this one game would change my life. I was up to kick. I launched the ball towards second base and begin to dart towards first. I then ended up tacking the first basemen, both of us falling to the ground. Adrean likes to say that he never met a girl that was so into a game and from that moment he knew I was different and I was "the one".

The Proposal

March 8, 2019

I was in clinicals this day at Mayo where I was in such a hurry to get home because we had a fun weekend planned in Disney. Little did I know Adrean had plans of his own for that afternoon. I ended up getting out late from my classes, so I rushed home to shower and change before we took off for Orlando. The ENTIRE ride he was complaining of having a "stomach ache" (turns out it was nerves haha). When we arrived in Orlando he kept asking me when sunset was, turns out it was "now" as we were still on I-4. He ended up taking me to the Orlando Eye where we had reservations I didn't know about in a private "capsule" that was decked out in soft mood lighting, rose petals and champagne. When we reached the top (400ft in the air) I was busy gazing out the window and when I turned around he was on one knee. I said "YES!" and the rest is history <3
