We met by our beloved friends: Austin and Laurie. After a few awkward double dates, (to which we barely spoke), we really got to know each other after going out on yet another double date to a hibachi dinner (a Laurie and Austin special). Patrick was surprised with a birthday sundae, despite it NOT being his birthday, and Billie was surprised with Patrick asking her on an actual date! - A few months of bonfires, beach dates, and dinners led Patrick to ask Billie to be his girlfriend on April 10th, 2021 after a night of stargazing in Watchung.

We got engaged in Disney on a trip with Billie's family. At sunset, on a bridge in Disney Springs, Patrick popped the question. Billie met him with an outstanding "YES!" Right after, we were able to have a surf & turf dinner, and call all of our loved ones to tell them the good news. - If you ask Patrick, he will say how stressed he was trying to hide the ring from Billie through TSA. If you ask Billie, she will say she honestly had no idea !
