Now, this is a story about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I’d like to take a minute Just sit right here I’ll tell you how I got engaged to the girl Angela, my dear At University of Toronto where we graduate In the science labs was where I spent most of my days Learning’ studyin’ procrastinatin’ all cool And doing physics experiments inside the school When a small Asian girl who was up to no good Started bossing me around, unlike a lady should She was smart and confident, I got real scared She said, “why don’t you take me to a movie that just aired” I showed up at the theater and when she came near The ticket said “The Grudge” and the theater was bare If anything I could say this moment was rare And I said “hold my hand, If you are really scared” We took a bus back home at about 7 or 8 as she slept on my shoulders, and it sealed my fate I looked at her face I knew-it right there We will have a life-time of memories to share
