THE EVOLUTION OF OUR LOVE STORY <3

JANUARY 19, 2019

It all started when Connor relocated from his hometown in Wisconsin to take on a new job opportunity in Coon Rapids, MN. Being new to the area and not having many friends in the area Connor took to the internet for some guidance. We connected on tinder shortly after he moved to MN, but as with every love story it was not quite that simple. Every time there was a slight mention of meeting up, for coffee or dinner or some other ice breaker I would ghost him for about a week until I got the courage to shoot him a message about how busy I got and couldn’t make it. We continued talking for a few months getting to know each other and all the little details of one another lives. Eventually after months of trying to meet me in person and me not budging on the subject he gave me the big ULTIMATUM. He told me he would love to meet me and get to know me more and when I was ready I knew where to find him until then he was going to back off. That very same day within a few hours I was in my car driving down to the twin cities to meet a man who I had no idea would change my life forever. It was an instant connection from the moment he opened the door to the time I had to leave and neither of us wanted the night to end. He let me leave that night probably thinking he would never see me again despite the great night we had just had (I had a history with disappearing on him 😂), but the very next day we ended up making plans for the rest of our lives we just didn’t know it yet. We moved fast and have overcome some very hard obstacles these past 4.5 years together. We have truly been each others saving grace in all the chaos we’ve endured but it’s not so bad when you have your best friend by your side day in and day out. Since meeting we have moved twice, had 4 job changes, taken 5 vacations, many small road trips, welcomed 2 new family members to our bunch, hosted 3 family holidays to bring our families together, took up a love for ice fishing together, survived a worldwide pandemic, watched as one of the biggest civil rights movements in history unfolded in our very own state moving worldwide, worked through the highest unemployment rates this country has seen since the Great Depression, GOT ENGAGED, and last but not least we are about to say are I DO’S!!!!
