We met on Hinge! Our conversations were always fun and easy (We have one very memorable one: ask us about the Loch Ness Monster), so we decided to go on a first date. We met at Tequila Butcher in Chanhassen. Isaac will say that I was very nervous, which I was, but he made me feel comfortable. On our second date it felt like I had known him a lifetime, and I could be completely myself, which had never happened to me. We didn't make it official for a few months (I was ready after the second date lol). Even before we made it official, we met each other's families. Family is very important to both Isaac and I, so this was a big step. I met Isaacs family first at his brother Bryce's Birthday Picinic party. He mentioned briefly on the ride over that I was going to meet everyone, and I was so nervous and excited. I walk up to yard games, the craziest flavored hot dogs, and a bunch of people. They made me feel so welcome and loved right away. I am so lucky to be joining their family! Since I met Isaac's Family before we were official....I thought it was ok for him to meet some of mine too. I let Isaac know that we were going to lunch with some of my cousins (that was the original plan) little did I know that my whole family was in the restaurant when we showed up! I think I was more nervous than Isaac. Isaac surprised me with his confidence and ability to talk to everyone during lunch. My family loves him and already has the new title of "Uncle Isaac"! This was just the start to our love story. God has moved in Isaac and I's lives over the years of our relationship. We have placed God at the center of our lives, and it has been the most rewarding part of our relationship. I cant wait to see what god has in store for us! With Love, Julia
