Jak has been such an encouragement over the past few years and is always up for an adventure! From gallivanting through Capri to parkouring through Paris to getting our car stuck in Iceland, no one has more joy in life than Jak! Jak is wise beyond his years and often helps me process difficult situations. Jak always has my back, but most importantly, he constantly reminds me of God's love and points me towards relationship with the Lord. I am so excited that he will be standing next to me on this special day and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for him!

I met Marie about 16 years ago when my family started attending Calvary Baptist Church. Although we had many fun memories together throughout our school years, after college Marie and I became even closer friends. From spontaneous bike rides, giant fires, playing soccer, adventurous hikes, Saturday morning runs and post-run eggs, overcoming our fear of cold water, and Savage Races, to co-teaching the High School Girls Sunday school class, going to Bible Studies, and challenging each other on memorizing scripture, Marie is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had! However, for as fun as she is, what I admire most about Marie is her humble, Christ-like character! She continually amazes me by her unconditional love and her servant's heart. I'm so thankful for her example and friendship!

Luke has often been called "Little Andrew," yet Luke is someone I continually look up to! Luke has a knack for noticing people and is always up for doing something crazy like running through Christmas tree farms, bike riding through a rainy Gettysburg, and even going on a mission trip to Haiti! Also, ladies, Luke is single and has all of the Hamilton lyrics memorized and can even do all of the Fortnite dances. He even played Romeo in his school play ;) Luke, I am blessed by your friendship and am pumped that you get to share in this special day! It is exciting to see what God is doing in your life!

I absolutely love having 3 brothers and all the crazy experiences that come along with that, but I can't deny that there were many times growing up that I wished I also had a sister. In 2013 my wish was granted when Bill married Carolina! Since then she has been more than just a sister to me. She is my friend, role model, and my stylist! She always has a positive, adventurous, ready to conquer the world attitude! I still remember her first Christmas with our family. Her excitement and enthusiasm became contagious! Carolina has also been a great example for me for how to be a godly as a woman, friend, sister, wife, and mother. I am extremely thankful for the influence Carolina has had and hopefully will continue to have on my life!

I am pumped about getting another brother in Blake. The first time I met Blake before Christina and I started dating, he gave me the biggest bear hug. Little did I know that I would get to call him a brother two years later and get to hug Blake whenever I wanted! I love you, Blake ;) Blake is a bruiser on the soccer field, is never scared to play with gas and a blow torch, is fearless in the kitchen, and has the best poker face of anyone. He also has some sick dance moves, point in case, Step Sing 2020. Most importantly, Blake has a heart that beats for the Lord. Blake, I'm thrilled that you will be alongside me and Christina for this ride of a lifetime!

I knew I wanted to be Emma's friend before I ever officially met her. Our brothers were friends so I had heard enough about her to know that she was not your typical teenage girl. Even though I was a year older it didn't take long for us to became inseparable friends after the first soccer practice her freshman year. When I think back to high school, almost all of my memories involve Emma. Whether going from lacrosse to basketball practice to indoor soccer, to playing "Hunger Games" for hours in the greenhouse, to playing Rock Band in the attic, to performing our Summer Olympics inspired synchronized pool routine. Emma has truly been an amazing friend! We vowed that if we never got married we'd get a beach house full of cats and dogs, but now I guess that plan will have to wait :).

My earliest memory of Zach was that he acted like he was sick to get the stuffed animal I wanted at a Christmas party. I'm still salty, but I think I'm over it. Zach is the man. He is a peacemaker who cares about people. My favorite memory with Zach is leading our first mission trip together to Haiti. We were young and inexperienced, but Zach kept us grounded. Through much prayer and mutual encouragement, we got to experience God's loving hand over our trip. Other favorite memories include dancing late into the night at Billy Bob's Honky Tonk, running over a python late at night in the Everglades, and of course, all the crazy lip sync practices of team Shake and Bake! Blessed by your friendship, man! Can't wait to celebrate with you!

Steph and I became good friends our freshman year in high school. Due to our shared interest in sports and learning and our lack of interest in high school drama, we often found ourselves together at lunch or in classes. As the years went on I came to realize what a true and rare friend Stephanie is! After manipulating our class schedules and Steph joined the lacrosse team, we would spend most of the day together. Steph is also a very loyal friend. After I got busted for bringing chickens to school for our senior prank, she turned herself in so I wouldn't have to serve the sentence by myself, which made it really fun! Since high school, Steph and I have remained close friends and have enjoyed being roommates for over a year now! I've been truly blessed to have a friend like Stephanie!

"Just watch Josh." That was the advice I got during our dancing lip sync practices, but that is a good rule for life. "Just watch Josh." Josh always has his eyes on the Lord and is always encouraging others. He loves people well and has been a true friend since our days in Al-g (Authentic Life Groups, if you don't like the name, it will grow on you!). We have tackled hiking Old Rag, shooting each other up in airsoft, and of course cheering on our Caps to a Stanley Cup win while playing family room hockey! Josh has been a true brother in Christ and he's getting married soon too! Blessed by you, man! Shake and Bake!

I've known Kelley since we started going to Calvary Baptist Church in 2004, but it really wasn't until we went on a missions trip to Mexico with our Young Adult group at church that I came to realize what a rare and unique person Kelley was! Kelley can't help but love and care for people! She has a gift for talking to and developing a friendship with anyone she meets no matter the age, gender, background, or even language! Since she and Tyler got married I have not only had the privilege of having her as a sister-in-law, but also as a great role model to follow! I am truly grateful to have Kelley in my life!

"As iron sharpens iron, so one hermano sharpens another." Ricardo has been a hermano since I met him two years back. He was the first one I ever told about my feelings for Christina and he never ceases to encourage me in my walk with the Lord. We built our friendship around leading Bible studies and kicking the ball around on the soccer field. One of my favorite memories was when I got fouled and Ricardo stuck up for me. That was when I realized that Ricardo was a true hermano. Ricardo is a constant servant-leader, always making time for people. He even went shopping for me on HIS birthday! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Cassie over the past year and a half since I met Andrew! She is a nurse at UMD and I couldn't think of a more perfect job for her! She is fearless but calm, fierce but tender, responsible but is always ready to have fun, she is witty and sassy but also friendly and is sure to include everyone! She is an amazing older sister who has mastered the ability to combine being a leader and friend to each of her siblings, and knows how to care for them in ways specific to their needs! This will be a unique experience for both us since I will be gaining younger sisters for the first time and she will be getting an older sister for the first time!

Ryan always makes time for people. He is a great friend at work and outside of work. Don't tell my boss, but sometimes I call Ryan with a "procurement question," but really I just want to hangout. He even gave up an entire Saturday in September to help me with the proposal video for Christina! My favorite memories with Ryan are digging massive holes at Long Beach Island, going on bike rides, and rooming together at Reality Week in high school. You always cared about me and never judged me. I'm thankful for our friendship and your constant desire to point others to the Lord!

If I had to describe Lindsay with one word it would be kind! Loving and caring for others just seems to come naturally to her! Even though she didn't know me as well since she's been in college for most of the time, Lindsay has always made me feel like part of the family! One of my favorite memories with her so far is running with her when I went on vacation with the DiDios. It's amazing how easy running seems when you're distracted by talking the whole time haha! I am excited to be able to get to know Lindsay even better and looking forward to more runs with her in the future :)

My earliest memories with Graham are of us shooting each other with airsoft guns during the day and watching Fast and Furious and The Bourne Identity at night. Graham is a man's man, always down to test his pain tolerance with the newest airsoft gun and he's got a mean sasquatch call. My favorite memory (though painful) was when we were walking back from an airsoft battle and Graham shot me. Knowing that I wouldn't retaliate, he shot me a few more times for good measure. Graham is wise and always has a word of encouragement from the Lord when I am struggling. I am blessed by you, Graham! Thank you for being a part of my life!

Elizabeth never fails to make us laugh! You can always count on her to lighten the mood! Like any good brothers the boys enjoy picking on her, but she knows how to give it right back! Elizabeth's quick wit is a force to be reckoned with, and it is certainly fun to watch the boys try! Andrew and I started dating about the time Elizabeth was starting her Senior year in high school which was exciting to be a part of! Even though they didn't get to have a prom, it was fun watching Elizabeth and her friends have their own prom night last Summer! Now that she is in college at the University of Alabama we have the bond of going to college in the same state and plus I now have an excuse to visit the south again!

I first met Ben in middle school when I was in my “dweeby” stage. After running into each other again on the soccer field we started attending weekly Bible studies. Our minds were blown as we studied deep-seeded theology, but more importantly we began to better know God. Though we are both 5’7, a buck fifty, and wear size smedium, no we are not brothers though we have been asked 16 times. Ben loves working out, talking about his beloved Tottenham, and saying yes to the next great adventure including our most recent trip to Tanzania. I am blessed to have this brother in Christ alongside me on this special day…and yes, Ben continues to remind me that I used to be a dweeb.

Daniel is a doonshlog. He brings so much joy to those around him and is always down for a family room wrestling match! His laugh is infectious. It is impossible to not smile when hanging out with him. Daniel, I love you, but you still smell like beef and cheese!

Yazmin and I started out as just being co-workers at the greenhouse, but last April she became one of my roommates, and since then she has become one of my good friends! She is determined, hardworking, and diligent! I don't think she knows how or what wasting time is :). What I admire even more about Yazmin is her unparalleled generosity and her kindness towards others! If she enjoys something, she wants everyone else to share her joy! Yazmin loves to serve others and show them in any way she can how much they mean to her! I am very excited to start a new life with Andrew, but I will truly miss Yazmin as a roommate! At least we will still be co-workers :)
