It all started in math class freshman year of college at the University of North Texas. Paige was early and chose to sit in the third row, trying not to draw too much attention to herself. Then a six-foot-eight man walks in and sits directly in front of her in the first row. All she could do was think, "Who is that guy? I really want to get to know him". Next thing you know, she found out what fraternity he was in and reached out to a mutual friend to get Cody's contact information. Paige reached out to Cody to "get math help" although, she really didn't need it. A few months later, they both got an A in math class, started dating, and have been together ever since!

Paige never saw it coming! Paige's friend mentioned she wanted to host a fancy New Year's Eve party. Dress to the nines! If you know Paige, you know she loves to wear black, so you can imagine everyone's shock when she arrives in a white dress to the party (the black dress was sold out - it was fate!). Everyone thought for sure she knew what was going to happen later that night. All her close friends from her hometown, Austin, and college roommates were in attendance. There was music, dancing, and fun! When the time got close to midnight, everyone crowded around the TV to watch the clock count down. They all shouted, "3, 2, 1," and as Paige turned around to give Cody a big ole' smooch, he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. She said, "YES"! Everyone cheered, and the surprise engagement party began.
