There’s a new Boss in town!

October 5, 2017 was the first day Sean and Nicole started talking. In the day and age where internet dating apps have become so popular and rather easy, that is exactly how they met. The app is called Bumble. Some may know it, others may not. For those that don’t know it, it’s kind of like a more sophisticated Tinder. They both swiped right on each other and that’s how they knew they matched. Only kicker was, the woman had to be the first to contact the guy otherwise the match was gone. While Nicole was hesitant to be the one to make the first move, she sent the very predictable and safe message, “hey, how are you?” It actually worked! Sean replied back and the conversation just flowed. After about a week of talking and texting over the phone, they had their first date on October 11, 2017 at downtown Disney. Again, the conversation just flowed. And much to Nicole’s surprise, Sean gave her a small goodnight kiss even after she had onions at dinner. Shorly after, Sean was already asking for a second date! They each had a date with other people after that but when they got together for their third date on October 31, 2017, they both told each other they did not want to date anyone else. So began their journey of trials and love that has led to the reason you all are reading this now. Thank you for your support and love and sharing in this journey with them!

This day started out pretty much like any other day. It was the day they had scheduled for their annual themed Christmas party (pajama onesie). Most of their family and friends were with them celebrating the Christmas season and enjoying each other’s company. The time came for the white elephant gift exchange. That was quite entertaining and sure brought on lots of laughter and fun! At the end of the gift exchange, Sean made an announcement about Nicole’s birthday being overshadowed since it was the week after the party. Since their families were making it a point to celebrate the week after, Nicole was a little confused. It wasn’t until Sean was nervously saying “umm” and smiling at Nicole that she quickly figured out what was happening, along with EVERYONE in the room taking out their phones. Sean then got down on one knee in front of our loved ones and asked Nicole to be his forever!
