It all began in a small fast-food restaurant. Not the most ideal place but love is blind. Nevaeh was a new employee who only worked there because her childhood friends worked there. A tall guy with the bluest eyes ever and the deepest voice she’s ever heard was going to be her trainer. Little did she know, he was also going to be her lifetime partner. At first, they didn’t know each other and didn’t talk to each other but they had the same friends so they happened just to fall together. So after numerous times of hanging out, Nathan took Nevaeh and their friend to the mall and the Rhema lights. Nevaeh’s original plan was to ask Nathan out but she chickened out and got scared. Nevaeh and her friend were sitting, waiting for Nathan to get back from the candy store in the mall, and her friend let her in on a secret plan of Nathan’s. They told Nevaeh that Nathan was planning on asking her out at the lights. This made Nevaeh nervous (for some odd reason) so once they got to the lights, she was too nervous to be allowed with Nathan. Both he and the friend were trying to get Nevaeh and him alone together so he could pop the question but Nevaeh would dodge him. But, Nathan offered to take them to braums. The friend declined but Nevaeh was excited to go get ice cream so she said yes. Little did she know, she was going to be alone with Nathan. They got to braums and Nathan looked quite annoyed. Nevaeh asked what was wrong because all she could think about was the ice cream waiting for her. Nathan goes on about how he was trying to get them alone all day and that he knew that Nevaeh was dodging him. She said sorry and that this was the first time something had happened to her. He proceeds to look at her with the most warming smile and asks if she would want to be his girlfriend and she says yes! Once they went inside for the ice cream everyone turned and looked at us and asked Nathan if I said yes and he nodded. Nevaeh didn’t know the whole store was in this too but she’s glad that it happened. Fast forward to a little over a year later and they visit Nathan’s family in Long Pine Nebraska for a couple of weeks. Nevaeh was very nervous because she would meet Nathan’s whole family, but they were very nice and welcoming when she got there. A couple of days after they arrived, Nathan wanted to show Nevaeh around his town. His mom told Nevaeh she wanted to take pictures so Nevaeh got dressed up and they took some pictures and rushed out the door. Nevaeh could tell something was off but she didn’t say anything. First, they went to his family church. He showed her the kid's area, the stairs, and the closets. Then came the main room. He told her to close her eyes and she didn’t think much of it. They went through the door and stopped where Nevaeh was told to open her eyes. When she did, she didn’t notice the big “Will you marry me” sign on the monitor. Nathan then got on one knee and popped the question, “Will you marry me?” Nevaeh was so in shock because she didn’t know any of this was going to happen. But of course, she said yes and now they can live happily ever after!
