Where is the ceremony & reception taking place?

-Our ceremony will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church, located at 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL. -The reception will take place at The Haley Mansion, located at 17 S. Center Street, Joliet, IL.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins.

Is there parking available for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes,St. Raphael has ample parking available in the church lot for guests. The Haley Mansion provides on-site parking for guests, as well as complimentary valet service.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

As our ceremony will take place in a Catholic church,We kindly request formal attire. The church is traditional and the mansion is elegant, so dress to impress.

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

The Catholic ceremony will last about 60 minutes.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held inside the historic mansion, with opportunities to enjoy the gardens during the evening.

Is everything wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both St. Raphael and The Haley Mansion are fully accessible. Please reach out if you need any special assistance.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask guests to please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our professional photographer will capture every moment, and we’ll happily share the memories with you.

Can I take photos at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to capture and share the joy of the evening. Don’t forget to use our wedding hashtag: #MchaleWithAVeil

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to and from the hotel and wedding venue for your convenience. Shuttles will run twice before and twice after the reception so you can relax and enjoy the celebration without worrying about driving.

May I bring a guest?

Answer

We warmly welcome each invited guest as indicated on their invitation. If a plus-one is included, it will be clearly noted. We kindly ask that invitations be honored as issued to ensure accurate planning for our celebration.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see our Travel Page for our hotel recommendation. For your convenience there is a link provided to the hotel. If You intend to book a hotel room for the night of the wedding, the hotel recommends booking in advance.
