How we met

Good things come to those who wait....

We met on the first day of our junior/senior year in highschool in 2010. I was a senior and David a junior. I didn't have a parking spot the first semester of the year, so I car pooled with my best friend Annie. When Annie picked me up in the center of town that morning, I got in the car and was immediately introduced to Annie's boyfriends, younger brother, David. I thought to myself, he's kind of cute! I don't remember if I even talked to him in the car or not, but I do remember hoping that she was going to be driving him to school every day. Fast forward 7 hours...I went to science class, the last class of the day and low and behold, there was David. I wasn't sure if he would talk to me but I found a seat near his and asked "so is Annie driving you home from school today”? Which was unfortunately answered with a no. So, after a few more rides to school, a couple more classes and some very obvious flirting on my end, I secured David's phone number. Awesome! I was going to try my best to play it cool and see where this led....which ended up being, no where. I graduated, went off to college, David entered his senior year and then also went off to college. It wasn't until January of 2013, during winter break when we finally connected again. I was out to dinner with a mutual friend of ours and after dinner I was invited to the center of town (right where we first met), to hangout with David and our mutual friends. I was thrilled, wondering if that spark was still there? I pulled into the parking lot in the center and David pulled in shortly after me, I was giddy. We hungout in the center of town, talking, catching up, taking pictures together and enjoying seeing each other again. When the night ended David told me he couldn't let me leave without a kiss, the spark was definitely still there and has been ever since! And so....we've been us, ever since!
