We're Getting Married

Just two fish in the sea on plenty of fish! We met online and dated for 6 months and the timing wasn't right. Took some time apart to find ourselves and live life. Life brought us back together 3 years ago and we have been inseparable ever since!

The Proposal - Totally unexpected and special! Nick had the ring for SIX MONTHS before he proposed to me, everyone knew besides me (Yes, that is how it is suppose to be but DANG EVERYONE!) We headed up to my parents house for the weekend, mini get away before I started my new job. My parents had recently joined a winery and wanted us to see it so set up a jeep tour for Friday June 22. I went for a run in the morning on the trail behind my parents house and of course tripped over a rock and scraped up my knee. I walked back to the house to seek medical treatment from my EMT who told me I was fine and to suck it up. I took a shower and started to get ready for the winery and Nick jokingly said "if I gave you a ring would you feel better" I laughed it off. I got dressed in a dress and said, "should I wear this or my rose all day shirt" he said the dress. Then also told me that my hair looked good... I didn't catch on! He asked "Are we taking pictures today, do I have to do my hair" my response "of course we will be taking pictures" Fast forward to the winery... We arrive and the staff pour us a taste while we wait till the tour, we cheers and I look over and Nick finished his wine. Nick is not a big drinker let alone a wine drinker, I was like YES he likes WINE!!!!! Then we headed to the jeep for the tour. Took some pictures in front and jumped in, it was hot and bumpy. Such beautiful views but man it was hot. We got to the top and the tour guide poured us the special bootleg version of their wine, and Nick drank that quickly as well!!!!! It was beautiful at the top, I asked the guide if they do weddings (I had no idea what was coming) We took some family pictures, Nick and my dad were goofing around and then Nick said "Hand your mom your phone, let's take a picture" I am sure you are all familiar with my hashtag #hehatespicturesIlovepictures so this shocked me. I handed my mom my phone, we walked over to pose and then Nick reached in his pocket and dropped to one knee. I instantly was crying, happy tears of course!!!! Just like that we were engaged!
