Ceremony

Garden Attire, beach attire, fancy attire, casual wear! Wear what feels good and fun for you- we'll be fancy! Things to know: there is about a 1/2 mile walk on boardwalk with some steps down to a cobble beach which may make high heels difficult. It might be (will probably be...) raining! If so wear raingear! If its pouring it will be a short and sweet ceremony.
Our ceremony is in a small cove 1/4 mile northeast down a trail from the Settlers Cove Camp ground. The campground parking lot is extremely small, so guests will have to park at the end of North Tongass Hwy, at the Lunch Creek Trailhead. A shuttle (see Shuttle and Travel tab) will pick guests up from the end of the road and deliver them to the ceremony trail. We will have our ceremony at 1:30 down at Settler's Cove, with a champagne toast after. There will be someone to direct guests on where to go after shuttle drop off. See Maps tab for further details.

Use this as a rare excuse to get Ketchikan-fancy! Bust out your best dancing shoes, you know Tom Field has a few snappy pairs! (Out of towners should know Ketchikan believes fancy is a spectrum: this includes floor length ball gowns and/or your cleanest Xtra Tuffs and Carhartts.)
4:30 - Shuttle departs Berth 4 (see Maps tab) to North Tongass Community Center for guests who wish to attend bonfire and cocktail hour. 5:00 - Appetizers and cocktail hour. We will also have a bonfire going across the parking lot down at Refuge beach, feel free to grab a beverage and join us! 5:30 - A second shuttle departs Berth 4 for North Tongass Community Center for guests who wish to arrive by 6:00 for dinner. 6:30 - Dinner catered by New York Cafe 7:30 - Toasts/enjoy cupcakes 8:00 - Dance party is ON Shuttles will be available to bring guests back into town every hour at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 pm.
