Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The Bee and The Biscuit has plenty of parking on their property. Parking is free! Vehicles cannot be left overnight. Please plan accordingly for a safe ride home!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We promise to share our photographers professional pictures abundantly after the wedding.

Can we take pictures after the ceremony?

Absolutely! Feel free to take as many pictures as you want and please share them with us!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! FUN FACT: The Bee and The Biscuit won multiple awards for being the best restaurant, having the tastiest food, and employing the top mixologists in Virginia. They also received the 2021 Traveler's Choice Award and has been ranked in the top 10% restaurants worldwide! (They're pretty good!)

Of course! Please let Shaina or Steve know ASAP so they can plan with their venue accordingly.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

August, in Virginia Beach, is a moderately hot month, with temperature in the range of an average high of 82.9°F and an average low of 74.5°F. August is also the month with the warmest seawater, with an average ocean temperature of 80.1°F.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer cocktail. A maxi dress, a midi, or knee length dress, as well as jumpsuits or rompers are all great options. Summertime cocktail attire for men typically consists of a lightweight blazer or sports coat, dress shirt, tie, trousers, and dress shoes. If its hot outside, ditch the blazer or sports coat and go with a short-sleeve shirt instead. Khakis or linen trousers are also a good option for hot weather.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only.

Is the "Bonus Party" Ocean Breeze Water Park card included with the invitation you sent our admission ticket?

Answer

No. Please fill it out and send it back with your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.
