We met the end of my sophomore year of college. Hayley set me up on a double date with her, Walter, and Tyler. We ended up going to the bowling alley and stayed until they pretty much kicked us out. The rest is history! We continue to grow and develop each other everyday. We knew from the start that our relationship was different from the ones in the past. Now, almost 6 years later, we get to celebrate our forever!

We planned to go look at some Christmas lights at this place called Lights On The Farm in Middlesex, NC. Over the weekend we planned to go with Meredith, Tanner, and Liam. It was a rainy day and the place threatened to close due to the weather. Thankfully, God was on our side and the weather cleared up about 4pm. We went inside and first thing we did was ride the hayride to look at all the lights. After the hayride, Tyler wanted to take a picture in front of the sign that said “welcome to the lights on the farm.” In that moment, Tyler got down on one knee and proposed. I was surprised to say the least! I get to marry my best friend!
