Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends joining us walking down the aisle.

Rachel Ranek

Matron of Honor

Rachel is my cousin and in-turn my best friend. We grew up next door to each other and were virtually inseparable throughout childhood. I have always looked up to Rachel as a big sister and am so grateful for our close relationship. Rachel and I moved to Indianapolis together after we graduated college and it was great to have someone else to explore this new city with. Rachel's husband Tony is also in the wedding! The photo of us is from an Indianapolis Indians baseball game (shocking we were at a baseball game)!

Kaitlin O'Rourke

Maid of Honor

Katie was my college roommate all 4 years. Katie and I have been through a lot together and she will always be referred to as my roommate. Although she lives in NYC, we make sure to see each other at least 3-4 times per year. We love to travel and have been to Italy, Paris, Amsterdam and London together. Katie was my rock throughout college and continues to be as we go through life. We were instant best friends and have been inseparable since.

Tiffany Derheimer

Bridesmaid

Tiffany is my new sister (in-law)! I always wanted a sister and am so happy that she turned out to be Tiffany. Tiffany and my brother got married last year and really set Jordan and I up for the perfect engagement! We are missing Tiffany and Luke while they are living in London, but are so excited that they are going to come back and celebrate with us next August! The picture of us was from our AMAZING trip to Napa that they took Jordan and I on for THEIR honeymoon. Yes, they are expecting us to return the favor! HAHA

Carly Fisher

Bridesmaid

Carly is also my cousin so by default also my friend. Just like Rachel, Carly and I grew up as neighbors and did a lot together. Carly lives in Chicago and is who you want to be with if you want to have a great time. Carly and I are the family bartenders and are always making drinks for family functions. She and I tend to get ourselves into trouble, but have survived thus far! This picture is from my brother's wedding right before we hit the bars! (shocking I know)

Shauna Denihan

Bridesmaid

Shauna is also my cousin and my neighbor growing up! She is from my dad's side, but I am lucky enough that all my cousins (from both sides) hung out together growing up, and even now! Shauna lives in Fort Wayne and we love to hang out whenever we are both in town! Shauna and I also tend to be the life of the party (along with Maureen) when it comes to Derheimer functions! The picture of us is from the Taylor Swift concert in 2018. It was debatably the best day of our lives.

Dana Beatty

Bridesmaid

Dana is one of my best friends who I met when I worked for the State of Indiana. We were thankfully in the same cohort which helped our survival rate in working for the Department of Child Services! Dana and I also tend to get ourselves in trouble, not necessarily at family functions, but in spontaneous bar crawls. I can always count on her for a good glass (bottle) of wine after a stressful day! The picture of us was from our trip to NYC to visit my other best friend Katie O'Rourke!!

Kate McDonald

Bridesmaid

Kate started out as Jordan's "friend" (more like frienemy) and has turned in to one of my best friends in-turn. Kate is always the life of the party and we clicked right away. I can always count on her to go to Hacienda with me when I'm in South Bend to have margaritas, chips and ranch. Kate has watched Jordan’s and my relationship first-hand over the last 6 years and has been supportive throughout, although she wouldn't want Jordan to know that. HAHA! It is likely to find us both at Notre Dame tailgates together and thats what this photo is from! It was the first tailgate after Jordan and I got engaged when I asked her to be in our wedding!

Jordan Weidner

Best Man

You want to talk about pure fun? Let me tell you what, man, you gotta meet Jordan "Dito" Weidner. Dito has been my partner in crime, N64, Code Red & frozen burritos for the last 20+ years. We have journeyed into the mists of Avalon and back again. He has never left me in the trenches taking grenades and I will always love him the MOST! From the beaches of Cancun to the jungles of Costa Rica, "Jordan & Jord" have been living life in the mantra of Pura Vida!

Luke Derheimer

Groomsman

Not only is Luke my future brother-in-law, he also doubles as the Compound's Frank Sinatra. From the karaoke stage to the vineyards of Sonoma, Luke (and Tiffany) has done so much for Emma and I. We are very thankful for Luke & Tiffany bringing us along on their honeymoon adventure (and setting the table for our engagement!) Thank you both for everything and we happily await the first Royal/US President!

Drew Smith

Groomsman

I first met Drew at a Marian High School baseball camp. Being a catcher, he had the pleasure of dealing with me on a regular basis during our time with the Knights & Sultans. Our friendship grew well beyond the baseball field and I was honored to be a best man in his wedding (see picture, sorry Ben). Drew and I have gone on numerous adventures and spent so much time together that it's been said that I say the things that Drew is thinking. "I'll take a Coors! Oh, & honored to be here"

Ben McDonald

Groomsman

Holding the title of "Most Important McDonald in the Wedding" is Kate of course (nicest thing I've ever said to Kate). Now that I've gotten the lies out of the way, let's talk about Ben. A loyal friend, an above average singer, and a top-notch Sultan/bowler/golfer/softball player. Ben has been a frequent visitor of ours, coming down to Indianapolis & DePauw to hang out on the weekends or Thursdays. From the halls of Marian to the ND tailgates, Ben has always provided a smiling face (see picture) and a well timed beverage!

Pat Rice

Groomsman

Patrick Rice holds the unique distinction of being my mom's favorite son, despite being raised in an entirely different house with a full set of siblings and parents not named Jim & Michelle. So naturally I felt obligated to include Pat in the wedding party... In all seriousness, Pat has been one of my best friends since high school and I was lucky enough to be in his wedding party (see picture). We have had some great journeys together and I know there will be many more to come!

Josh Weidner

Groomsman

Josh has been dealing with me (and Dito) for the last 20+ years. From Star Wars marathons to Marian carpools to neighborhood parties, Josh has always filled the room with sarcastic & witty humor and has been an older brother to me. Fun fact, Josh took me to my first rated 'R' movie (V for Vendetta) in theaters and it turned out to be my all-time favorite movie, so thanks! I was honored to be in his wedding (such a youthful picture) and we are so thankful to have Josh in our lives!

Tony Ranek

Groomsman

Tony and I have a lot in common. We are foreign invaders of "The Compound". We enjoy rooting for the Cubs & Bears on a regular basis. And we co-father the "Pride of Carmel, IN", Kevin (proudly pictured). Together we are tasked with corralling the dynamic duo of Emma & Rachel, a feat that would break almost anyone. As an integral part of the "Sunday Funday" club, Tony will continue to bring joy to our lives (Rachel's too!)

For all the days along the way
