Their love story began with a Bumble match in the Summer of 2019, shortly after Adam moved from Carlsbad to San Diego, proof that sometimes the right swipe really does change everything. On their first date, Adam thought Nessy was mysterious and reserved, while Nessy suspected Adam was pretty nervous (thanks to the steady stream of jokes he told to fill the air). Two months later, an invitation to celebrate Adam's birthday with immediate family at his mom’s house marked a quiet but meaningful turning point.
