The ceremony and reception will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Louland Falls, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah. The venue is tucked into the mountains, yet conveniently less than 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake. More details and directions will be available closer to the wedding date.
Formal invitations will be sent in the spring with all further wedding weekend details and the RSVP deadline.
The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
There are plenty of great options nearby, including hotels and Airbnbs, depending on your needs and preferences. We'll be sharing hotel recommendations soon on the Travel page.
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the closest and most convenient airport.
Salt Lake is commonly called Small Lake City for a reason. It's very easy to get around so rideshare can be a convenient option for the weekend. If you plan to explore the city or recreate, a rental car is likely a better option. For the wedding day, we highly encourage rideshare if you plan to be drinking.
Yes! Salt Lake is a perfect combination of city and mountains. There is easy access to hiking trails, scenic drives, and plenty of spots to soak in the fall colors. For a more relaxed day, there are many great restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and local attractions. We have a full list of our favorite places on the Things to Do page.
Our wedding day dress code is Mountain Formal—formal attire with an elevated alpine feel. As the celebration takes place outdoors, and evenings can be cool; so statement outerwear and comfortable footwear is encouraged. For women: Floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, or elegant pantsuits are ideal. Think rich, earthy tones, or jewel tones. Embrace velvet, lace, silk, or richer fabrics. Dressy boots, block heels, or wedges may be the preference over stilletos! For men: Suits in rich, earthy tones with mountain-inspired touches are perfect. Textured fabrics like tweed or velvet, unique ties, and elevated layers. Dress shoes are welcome, and polished boots are encouraged for both style and comfort. But truly, wear what is comfortable!
To keep our celebration intimate, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. Thank you for making arrangements.
