Nesha had just finished nursing school. Getting adjusted to her new way of life. The first Sunday in April 2018 she received a text from her nursing school bestie Hollie with a picture of Jacob and his youngest son Jeremiah. Hollie: You think he is cute? Nesha: Yes the little boy is adorable. Hollie: Not the little boy the guy lol. Nesha: Yes he’s cute. Hollie: You want me to give him your number? Nesha: Sure. We started texting each other. After each of us passed one another’s check list we took off from there. The road hasn’t been easy but we made it work. Blending children together is not for the weak but we did it. We are proud of our Young (Xavier last name) Batey bunch. #Young Batey bunch We had our ups and downs but we have never let anything stop us from breaking apart. Through it all the best testimony is this one. Throughout our whole relationship we have always been spiritual but we never worshiped God together. August I prayed and God spoke to me through my best friend Amber. I told him the desires of my heart and left it in God hands. The next week Jacob asked to start going to church together and pray together. Then we made life style changes together. Last but not least he finally seen fit to ask me to be his wife. We are excited to finally join together as one.
