Allie and Danny met while trying out for the flying team during their freshman year and quickly became best friends. It took a good year and a half of ignoring everyone else during group dinners, ski trips, flying team practices, and classes for them to realize that they really liked each other. To almost no one’s surprise, they eventually started dating. 3 years later, they got married in Columbus, MS.

Our first wedding took place at the County Courthouse in Columbus, MS. It was officiated by Mr. Leroy, Columbus mayoral candidate (fingers crossed!) who had seemingly just woken from a nap. On the way out, a prisoner awaiting court patted Danny on the back and said, “good luck partner”. Although our Mississippi wedding was pretty much perfect, it was severely lacking in friends and family. We couldn’t pass up the chance to celebrate- and dance- with all of you (and Danny couldn’t pass up the chance to have a day be all about himself).
