King Street

Enjoy a walk along the water while admiring the stately homes along this promenade. Take a quick detour to the iconic Rainbow Row or enjoy some shade at White Point Garden.

The Battery

About 25 minutes northwest of downtown Charleston. We love walking around the gardens at Middleton Place. The azaleas should hopefully still be in bloom during our wedding weekend!

For all the history buffs! Take a ferry out to Fort Sumter but don't forget your sunglasses and hats- there is limited shade.

Stop by the famous Pineapple Fountain and enjoy a stroll along the water!

Our favorite beach in the Charleston area- just a short drive from the downtown area. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the water or grab a few pizzas at The Obstinate Daughter.

Charleston has a rich history with many beautiful landmarks, interesting people and... ghosts? We thoroughly enjoyed our walking ghost tour through the city. There are many companies that offer these tours.
