We met at Monroe Park in Richmond, VA after being introduced by a mutual friend. We were both incoming freshmen attending Virginia Commonwealth University. We both happened to be assigned to the same dorm hall, just on different floors. What brought us close was our involvement with FACT @ VCU, a multicultural organization on campus. We have been best friends for almost 7 years and truly complete each other.
