We each saw the other first, at different times in 2013; but the memory remains clear for us both. We were good friends for years before we finally had our first date. We spent a day site seeing in Toronto. We walked for about 6hrs that day, stumbling into attractions that weren't on the list to see. Over a dinner of hot dogs from a food cart, life suddenly became simple, felt like we clicked in a way that neither of us had experienced before. Since that first date we have been inseparable. We were in a long distance relationship but made it a priority to be there for every high and low the other experienced, as Carrigon would say if we have to suck salt, we do it together. Two years ago he proposed, just the two of us on a sunny beach on lake Ontario but then the world was turned upside down with a pandemic and we have been unable to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family. Fast forward him moving to the United States, the arrival of our beautiful daughter and us building an amazing life together. Things are finally calming down and we can have the celebration we always wanted surrounded the people we love, the venues are booked and all the plans are set, all that's missing are your lovely faces!
