Finally we are getting married!

We like to say we met because of mice. We were both working in research labs at Columbia. Dressed in protective clothes and face masks we could only make flirty eyes at each other for awhile. Eventually we were able to meet outside of work. Our first date was at a Basque restaurant in the Lower East Side on March 25th, 2012.

Alvaro proposed to Neria on a pier in his hometown of San Sebastian in the Basque Country.
