We’re getting married!

Welcome to our love story! Satny: From high school acquaintances to lifelong partners, our journey is nothing short of a fairy tale. We met in high school but never imagined that years later, God would reconnect us and we'd discover a love so deep and true. Nephy: From the moment we reconnected , we knew there was something special between us, and over the past year and a half, we have built a life together rooted in love, trust, and mutual respect. Satny: It's amazing how life brings people together at the right time. Our reconnection felt like destiny, and we've cherished every moment since. We've grown together, supported each other through ups and downs, and our love has only become stronger. Nephy: As Satny and I plan our wedding, we started reflecting early on, how we got to where we are today – a true love story in every sense. Tracing Back the Steps: How Our Paths Crossed. “I am thankful our paths have crossed; and, I am grateful for the gift of you.” -Lisa Marie Platske Haiti: It just so happen that we were both born from towns less than 30 mns from each other. And while still young, we both moved around the same time with our families to the Capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince. USA: Although we didn’t meet even while in such close proximity; we finally cross paths in High School right after we both immigrated to the USA. It was as if destined! After we graduated High School we completely lost touch, until our unique paths cross again, 12 years later as adults, and it was then we realized that we were meant to be together. The timing of us coming into each other’s lives is incredibly important. We were both ready for a love as deep and pure as ours. Which in turn empowers us to help each other grow spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. Our Secret to Long-lasting Love: Shared Values and a love for God Our Shared Values: are the guiding principles for our relationship. Understanding and agreeing on values, helps us nurture deep respect for one another. As well as helping us build a strong, healthy, and lasting relationship with a deep and meaningful connection. Our Shared Values are Compassion, Intimacy, Patience, Validation, Growth, Honesty, Flexibility, Support, Equality and Joy! Making room for God in our relationship is the key factor to its success. Prioritizing God is helping us strengthen the connection between ourselves and has deepen our relationship with Him. We spend time with God through prayer. We get to know who God is and learn how to love and respect each other through His word. We got involved with our church. We show Christ's love by being humble, gentle, patient, and merciful, and bear with one another in love. We make Christ the center of our relationship and find our source of joy in Him, not just in each other.
