We met in April 2016 and had our first date on April 30th at a Tapas restaurant in Silver Spring. It's a cliche to say we came from different worlds, but there's no other way to put it. Trevor was born in California and grew up in a ski town in Colorado. Nene grew up in Tattaguine in Senegal and has lived in the Washington Metro Area since she was sixteen. But despite our different backgrounds, we found in one another kindred spirits. We found we shared the same values, wanted the same things from life, and had similar visions for our futures. And upon this foundation, we built something new. In August 2017, sitting on a beach in Oregon, we agreed to move in together. Seven months later Trevor proposed to Nene at Lake Needwood in Maryland. Now, as we prepare for our life together, we would love to share the occasion of our wedding with you. We hope you'll be able to join us to celebrate this special day.
