Our story began over 24 years ago spring 2001, Nova Scotia Sherman travelled from Toronto to Nova Scotia for a short weekend getaway with friends where decided to go to a club and hang out there he meet Nena a local young lady with a bright smile and captivating spirit They struck up a conversation effortlessly then dance the night away although their meeting was brief their connection was undeniable After Sherman returned home to Toronto, the couple could not shake the memory of each other so they decided to start a long distance relationship, the late night phone calls and messages in the wee hours of the morning kept them connected… After a while,Nena visit Sherman in Toronto and the time they spend together deepened their bond their love woven in the fabric of every day moments A few months down the line nena made the bold decision filled with love and a sense of adventure to permanently move to Toronto and ready to build a life with Sherman and as their love blossom they created a home, filled with love, laughter,and 4,children Sherman and Nena never tied the knot as they always thought it wasn’t necessary to be married as they felt their love was demonstrated in every sense of the way navigate in life hand in hand with shared meals, great conversation and togetherness and being always supported of each other through life challenges As years turned into decades,and the children grew up the couple felt a subtle shift in their life and now feel to celebrate their love in a more formal way so the thought of marriage started to linger in their mind despite their deep bond, the joy of parenting,dreams,hardship, and countless memories marriage sounded good One evening, sitting in their backyard watching the sun go down while sharing a bottle of wine Nena turned to Sherman and said what do you think about us finally getting married? Sherman turned to her with a bright smile on his face and said to her, I was thinking of that too I feel it’s the right time to celebrate what we build together let’s do it for ourselves and for our children So we made the decision to tie the knot!!
