The wedding will take place at The Retreat (8007 Soft Winds Dr, Corona, CA 92883).
Yes, there’s plenty of free parking at the venue! And if you’ve been enjoying the drinks a little too much, don't worry—you’re welcome to leave your car overnight.
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour before the reception. Since our venue is located in a gated community, you’ll need to go through security. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to allow for this and to ensure you have plenty of time to find parking and get settled before the ceremony begins. Keep in mind that traffic in the area can sometimes be a bit unpredictable, give yourself extra time to avoid any stress. The reception will begin shortly after cocktail hour, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The wedding will be a beautiful al fresco affair, with both the ceremony and reception taking place outdoors. Please dress accordingly and consider the weather forecast to stay comfortable throughout the day. If there is inclement weather, both the ceremony and reception will move to our venue's indoor reception space. The show must go on, rain or shine!
In October, you can expect mild and pleasant weather in Corona. Daytime temperatures are typically in the mid-70s to low 80s°F (24-28°C), with cooler evenings that can drop to the mid-50s to low 60s°F (13-18°C). It’s generally a dry month, so we're likely to have sunny skies, though it’s always a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evening when the temperatures cool down. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date to be prepared, but overall, you can expect a beautiful, comfortable day!
The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies, a cocktail dress, midi dress, or even a stylish pantsuit would be perfect! Feel free to dress it up with some fun accessories. Gents, a suit or dress pants with a dress shirt is the way to go—throw on a tie if you’re feeling extra sharp, or keep it casual with just the blazer. We ask that you avoid wearing white, ivory, or similar shades, as they’re reserved for the bride.
At Bosnian weddings, it’s customary for bridesmaids to pin flowers on the guests as a sign of participation in the celebration. Guests are invited to make an optional donation, which is believed to bring good luck and blessings to the newlyweds.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our professional photographer to capture the moment. However, feel free to take plenty of photos during the reception and at other times throughout the night!
We’d love for you to share your photos! We just ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony to keep the moment unplugged. After that, go ahead and snap as many pictures as you like—just make sure to catch our good side! Tag your posts with #TheNemiahs so we can relive the day through your eyes.
To keep the event as intimate as possible, we’ve only extended plus-ones to those who have been specifically mentioned on their invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
This will be an adults-only wedding, so we’re kindly requesting that no children attend the ceremony or reception, except for those in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding.
You bet! We’ve got an open bar—drinks on us, hangover on you! Whether you're into cocktails, wine, or mocktails, we’ve got you covered. Just remember to drink responsibly and have a fantastic time!
Yes, we’ll be live-streaming our ceremony for all of our loved ones who can’t be there in person. With family and friends scattered across the globe, we knew we had to make sure no one missed out on this special day.
We are working on hotel blocks as we speak. All updates will be listed under the "Travel" page.
You're way ahead of the game! The RSVP deadline will be included in your formal invitation :)
