We met at a bar in the fall of 2021! Josh was a bartender at Scotch and Sophia was working at the Preacher's Son in Bentonville, Arkansas. Sophia would go to the bar all the time to go sit across from the "cute bartender" (Josh) at Scotch and finally on Halloween she got up the courage to ask him on a date. He said yes and that was the start of it all!

Josh proposed on March 2, 2023 in the driveway and in the rain the night that he moved in with Sophia in their rental in Austin! Our new neighbor stepped out of the house in his underwear to congratulate us, he had been watching through the window! Josh surprised Sophia with a few of her best friends at her favorite restaurant, Clark's Oyster Bar. It was the best night ever!
