What is the dress code?
Answer
We ask that guests dress in their Sunday Best. Please feel comfortable yet polished: knee-length dresses or longer, florals, or a blazer with slacks are encouraged. Please no jeans of any kind. Our wedding colors are earthy tones, if you desire to join in our color theme.
Question
Can I still attend Mass if I'm not Catholic?
Answer
Of course! We are delighted to share our ceremony with loved ones of all faiths and backgrounds. The wedding will be a full Catholic Mass. Non-Catholic guests are welcome to participate in all parts of the Mass, including sitting, standing, and singing. During Holy Communion, we invite our non-Catholic guests to come forward for a blessing by crossing their arms over their chest, or to remain in their seats and join us in song or quiet prayer.

Where can we fulfill our Sunday obligation?
Answer
You can fulfill your Sunday obligation on Sunday morning at the following times in these parishes: Whittemore at 8:00am (St. Michael) ~ 22 min. drive from Emmetsburg Emmetsburg at 8:30am (Holy Family) ~ 4 min. drive from Casey's in Emmetsburg Algona at 10:00am (St. Cecelia) ~ 31 min. drive from Emmetsburg West Bend at 10:00am (Sts. When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
We ask you to please RSVP by August 5th, that way we have time to assign which table you will be sitting at, get our food numbers in, and finish up planning any last minute details!

Are there blocked hotel rooms?
Answer
There are not any blocked hotel rooms for our wedding as it was difficult to get into contact with a human being to talk via the phone about blocking out some rooms. Please contact your hotel sooner rather than later for reserving your rooms!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for seating.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and for celebrating with us.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
Yes, if they are included on your invitation. There are a few younger children/families we are not sure their names for all of them. If there are some of your children included on your invitation but not all of them, please let us know, so we can accommodate for them.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The Mass and reception will both take place indoors with some spaces to enjoy outside at the reception.

Cocktail Hour: Will there be an Open Bar? Will there be Snacks?
Answer
Cocktail Hour + Snack Bar will start around 3pm. We will provide a drink ticket (1 ticket does not pay for all drinks only specific ones - other drinks may need 2 tickets). Any other drinks guest will have to pay for themselves. There will be a popcorn bar as well as an ice cream bar. Toppings will be for both. We will have decks of cards as well on the tables. Please take this time to mingle and enjoy time with each other!
