Both the ceremony and reception are being held at the Victorian Belle Mansion. The address is 1441 N McClellan St, Portland, OR 97217. There is street parking as well as a small lot to park in off the side of the venue. You may start arriving at 4:00 pm, and the ceremony starts at 4:30 pm. We will be getting there at 10:00 am to get ready for the day, so if you would like to be a part of our day prior to when festivities start, please reach out to us and let us know! Please arrive at 4:00 pm. This will give you a chance to take in the venue and to be directed to the right place to go, sign guest book, etc. The ceremony will take place from 4:30-5:30, with dinner immediately following. After dinner, there will be games, kid-friendly activities and special guests, and dancing. The evening will conclude at 10 pm sharp. We will add more specific details as the day gets closer and we have finalized vendors and details.
Come as you are! Dressing up super fancy your thing? DO IT. Wanna wear jeans and a cute lil western shirt and matching socks? Let it rip! Can't leave home without your furry pajamas? We dig it. If you're invited, we want you there and don't care what you are wearing. Justin and Lindsey will be dressed pretty fancy but you are not obligated to match us by any means. We are quite weird, and encourage you to be yourself- whatever that looks like! Maybe don't also wear a wedding dress? That might be TOO weird.

Our first choice would be for you to donate to one of the amazing charities that we have listed on our registry page. Additionally, if you would prefer to be involved in our day somehow by volunteering time or contributing toward getting certain things for the day, we would appreciate that as well. We are very fortunate to have what we need in this world. If you would really like to get us a gift, there are some ideas of things we would like on our registry page. We also love handmade gifts or experiences (like going to a concert or a museum) as well! Please know that you being a part of our lives and our story are gift enough though!
We will be sending out both Save the Date and Paper Invitations prior to the ceremony which will have options for you to RSVP there. Additionally, there are RSVP tabs on some of the weekend events that you can reply to digitally.
Absolutely yes!! We will have special kid's activities throughout the event to keep them happy and occupied. If you would like to attend one of our weekend activities that are child-free, let us know and we can try to arrange for shared childcare arrangements. Please give us plenty of notice for something like this though so we can book someone appropriate for the amount of kids who might need care!
Yes absolutely. Bring whoever and whatever you need to make this event more comfortable for you. If you are wanting to bring more than one guest, let's talk about it and see if we can make something work. Our hope is to keep this event small and intimate while also honoring the needs of our guests to the best of our abilities.
I think we have settled on #insanelernerposse but are open to other suggestions. We had to work ICP into the wedding somehow!
Yes! On Friday night, we plan to do karaoke at Baby Ketten Club and on Saturday night before the wedding we plan to do a family friendly event at one of our favorite parks- it will be catered and there will be a fun/silly activity. If you want to be involved in other festivities or are planning to come out earlier than the weekend and want to hang out, let us know and we can make some plans! The events are all listed on the wedding timeline page as well as an option to RSVP digitally.
We do not. We opted to list some of our favorite hotels in the area instead. If you are hoping to book an airbnb and want additional guests to do so, let us know and we can hopefully hook you up with others who are looking for something similar.
