Our story

Forever and ever, amen

Our love story began during a season when the world felt quiet and uncertain, but somehow, in the middle of it all, we found each other. Taylor, a preschool teacher, and Conner, an EMT, met online during the pandemic. What started as simple conversations quickly became something deeper, a connection that felt safe, effortless, and meant to be. Our first date was November 2, 2020. The plan was simple: watch Taylor’s favorite movie at a park. But the movie hardly mattered. From the moment Conner picked Taylor up, hours passed in a blur of laughter, stories, and that rare feeling of being completely understood. Somewhere between the jokes and the easy silence, we both realized something special was beginning, the kind of love that feels like coming home. From that night forward, we were inseparable. Long drives between Murrieta and Huntington Beach became part of our love story, Luke Combs playing softly, windows down, and slow dancing together whenever we could. Those quiet moments, just the two of us, became the heartbeat of our relationship, filled with dreams for the future, deep conversations, and a love that only grew stronger with time. Over the past five years, our world has grown even fuller with the addition of our two dogs, Frannie and Olive Klerks, who brought even more laughter, chaos, and unconditional love into our home. Together, we’ve built a life that feels warm, safe, and full of joy, and if the future is any hint, it will probably include a few more rescue dogs and countless more memories. What began in a time of uncertainty has become a love that feels steady, enduring, and deeply true. We are endlessly grateful that our paths crossed, that we found not just a partner, but a best friend, a safe place, and a forever kind of love. Hand in hand, often swaying together to a country song, we look forward to every chapter still to come, side by side, exactly where we’re meant to be. We are home.
