We met on a dating app called Bumble. I had to make the first move, and obviously Aaron was captivated by my charm ;) We talked for a few days before Aaron drove out to Las Casuelas in Palm Springs to go to dinner. I feel like I don't even remember what we talked about because I was so nervous; I know what you're thinking- it didn't have to do with the margaritas! From then on, we seemed to be inseprable. We met each others' families fairly quickly and did something fun every single weekend.
On Friday, Dec. 7th, Aaron text me saying we had reservations to a really nice restaurant because he had a gift card he had gotten through work. Because I am a detective at heart, I was immediately skeptical of his story. 1. Aaron doesn't make reservations. Ever. 2. I am crazy. I went back and forth all day long convincing myself that something was going to happen, then telling myself "get over yourself, he just has a stupid gift card". Little did I know, while I was texting Courtney my crazy thoughts, she was telling him what was going on in my head. Fast forward to the evening-- we were walking through the Umbrella Alley in Downtown Redlands **gift card in hand**, where he stopped me and blurted out that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He got down on one knee and asked the most important question of our lives. I SAID YES! We have decided on forever and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you!
