If you'll be in town for a few extra days, take the Long Island Railroad into the city! You can take a Lyft, Uber, or taxi to either the Central Islip or Ronkonkoma train station, and it's only about 1 hour and 15 minute ride to Penn Station in NYC. Be sure to check the LIRR website linked below for train times, fare information, etc...
What many people don't know about Long Island is that the North Fork is home to over 30 beautiful wineries and vineyards! If you're planning a longer trip and have some time to kill (as most of these are about an hour away from the venue), we recommend enjoying some wine tasting and take in the beautiful scenery.
Montauk Point Lighthouse was the first lighthouse in New York State, and is the fourth-oldest active lighthouse in the United States. A small museum leads to 137 stairs up to the top of the tower where visitors can view the Atlantic Ocean from the most eastern point on Long Island.
Located right next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and resting atop one of Long Island's highest points, this golf course offers 18 challenging holes with panoramic views of the entire North Shore.
The brewery offers a variety of year-round beers and several seasonal brews as well as a tasting room!
