3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Ao Dai optional, Semi Formal preferred.
As part of our celebration, we will honor Vietnamese tradition with a tea ceremony, a custom in many Asian weddings that symbolizes the union of two families. During this ceremony, we will serve tea to our parents and elders as a gesture of love, respect, and gratitude, and in return, receive their blessings and words of wisdom. While this tradition is not rooted in both of our backgrounds, it is deeply meaningful to us as we build our future family and intentionally incorporate Vietnamese heritage into our marriage. It serves as a reminder that marriage extends beyond two individuals and is grounded in family, respect, and shared values across generations. Guests are warmly invited to witness this special moment. It is customary for the groom’s family to present offerings to the bride’s family, symbolizing unity and goodwill. Following the ceremony, we will continue the celebration at Grand House with an eight-course Vietnamese family-style meal, drinking, and dancing.
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Black Formal Attire
We warmly invite you to join us at Brighton Abbey in Aubrey, Texas, as we celebrate the official union of Nicole and Nelson and say “I do.” Surrounded by family and friends, this ceremony marks the beginning of our life together and a moment we are honored to share with you. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy a cocktail hour on the beautiful outdoor patio, with the reception to follow. We look forward to an evening filled with great food, drinks, and plenty of celebration as we begin this next chapter together.
