Question

What are your plans concerning COVID-19?

Answer

While the future is still unpredictable amidst the pandemic, we plan to forge ahead in hopes our wedding in Hawaii will still be possible. We want you to know we understand whole-heartedly if this trip is not feasible for you given the circumstances. For those comfortable with travel and able to attend, we will be sure to update the site regularly with any pertinent information surrounding our wedding week. With the vaccine roll-out taking place and the precautions that the state of Hawaii has taken in reopening and managing the virus, we feel confident our wedding day will still be possible as planned. If you have not booked travel arrangements, we recommend researching to find travel carriers and accommodations that do offer refunds due to covid. We would advise booking your flights and hotel stay at least one month prior to our wedding date to ensure availability and reasonable rates.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Please mention you are with the Nelson Smith wedding to security at the gate and they will show you where to park.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card or contact the bride.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your formal invitation says "and Guest," then yes, but if not we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Hawaiian cocktail- think dresses, linen suits, and blazers. Please no jeans, shorts, or tennis shoes, and save the Hawaiian shirts for the reception!
