We initially met in seminary, in a course called "Minister and Mental Illness." But that's not when we started dating. We met again through our friends Andrew and Emma Bridgeman. But that's now when we started dating. We met again at church, when Tony was an assistant pastor. But that's not when we started dating. The true beginning was in July of 2022, when Tony sent Ashley a message. We hit it off and had our first date at Uno's, sharing a deep dish pizza. For anyone that knows Tony, this should not be a surprise! Our love was slow, but sweet. It began as friendship, by getting to know each other. Although very different people, we bonded over our love for theology, music, and humor. The relationship solidified through separate difficulties we each faced early in the relationship. Our initial friendship carried us through and allowed our love to deepen. Over the years, we have grown together through shared hobbies. We both enjoy Crossfit and improving our strength and fitness. Perhaps our greatest hobby is caring for our four cats: Chester, Karma, Sparky, and Augustine. We enjoy snuggling with them and sharing stories together about their craziness! We look forward to celebrating our love with you all on September 27th. It is an honor and privilege to have such a strong community surrounding and supporting us!
