Answer
We have two hotels for which we blocked rooms (Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard Marriott), but there are many other hotels in the area if the blocks are full! Fairfield Inn & Suites (5230 Westview Drive, Frederick, MD 21703 ), Residence Inn (5230 Westview Drive, Frederick, MD 21703), TownePlace Suites (5050 Westview Dr, Frederick, MD 21703), Home2 Suites by Hilton (4850 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD 21704), and Country Inn & Suites (5579 Spectrum Dr, Frederick, MD 21703) are just a few of the other hotels close by. PLEASE NOTE: we were informed by the hotels that they are booking rooms quickly and will likely sell out for our wedding weekend. Please book your hotel ASAP in order to secure a room for our weekend!

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our blocks or find that the blocks are full, reach out to the hotels and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our blocks. If not, please refer to the other FAQs for other hotel options in the area.

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony, as we want you to truly be in the moment with us! You are allowed to take photos and video during the reception if you wish.

We ask that you please hold on sharing photos of our wedding on social media until we make our formal wedding announcement with our professional images.

We invite you to RSVP online using the QR code on the RSVP card or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with your invitation.

Our venue's address is 3555 Brethren Church Rd, Myersville, MD 21773. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you through the building to the back where the ceremony will take place. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Answer
We were informed by the venue that there is limited ride-sharing options around the venue location, mainly due to its distance from the center of Frederick. Therefore, we do not recommend relying solely on ride-sharing to travel to and from the venue itself. However, there are ample transportation options within Frederick itself. Please refer to the travel page for options for save travel to and from the venue.

For guests driving to the venue, there is free on-site parking.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be outdoors on grass, while the reception will take place indoors. Should it be needed there is an indoor rain plan. You will walk on paved pathways to the ceremony area, but will need to step on grass to take your seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional plus-one's other than those specifically named on the invitations. Thank you so much for understanding!

Answer
There will be an open bar for you to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. However, due to Maryland state law, the bar will close 30 minutes prior to the end of the event, at ~10pm. We do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time (5:00pm) to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.
