We’re getting married!

Michael has never been to a beach before. We agreed his first time would be together. He mentioned his friends making plans to go to Long Beach, WA and around that time we agreed we should get married by the end of the year so I figured a proposal would be coming soon. As we were making plans for that weekend he briefly mentioned we should dress up to walk on the beach. If you know Michael he never dresses up so that was the first giveaway! It was so cute because the night before he was even asking if the outfits he had chosen would go together. The day came, he was acting a little more giddy than usual on the drive there. There was so many tells that by the time we got to the beach I knew it was happening that day. After we ate there we walked towards the shore watching Aiden play in the sand. He started breathing hard and we had only walked a few feet so I could tell he was definitely nervous! We’re making small talk and I say “I’m gonna have to change Aiden once we get back to the car” He put his hand in his pocket, goes down on one knee and says “that won’t be the only thing changing... will you marry me?” Overall the whole proposal was really special and I was proud of Michael for doing a good job planning it.
