Zoey Cervantes is Nelly's and Charles's little mini Maltese. She has been around since she was 6 weeks old. She loves long walks at the park and belly rubs. You'll know her by her pure white fluffy hair as she walks down the isle.

Nora and Nelly met years ago in college. Since the first day we met we hit it off. We had some of the same hobbies, same ideas on overall well being, and caring for others. It's always been an adventure when we are together. I will never forget those long drives to and from Atlanta. We have been there for each other through some hard times. Luckily some wonderful times also, such us these.

I have known Peter since high school and college. We played football together. We have taken road trips together and shared countless memories together. When he lived in Minnesota I drove 17 hours see him. I was a part of his wedding in St. Lucia Peter has always had great heart and cares about making our world a better place. He is like a brother!

Ellen and Nelly met in college statistics class. We each were each others saving grace when it came to excruciating math, mountain hikes, and life in general. Ellen became family. I will never forget us getting snowed in at Kennesaw mountain and making tons of hot chocolate for the people who were stranded in their cars. Those are memories i will cherish forever.

Julian is one of the best man I ever known. He has been like my dad since I meet him in 9th grade he introduced me to Fellowship of Christian Athletics while I was in high school. He taught me how to be a man and not give up. His faith and leadership has strongly influenced me. He believed in me when a lot of people had already counted me out in life!

Josh and Nelly met freshman year in high school. Since then they have been inseparable till this day. Josh is a friend who became family. Someone I can always count on. You have seen me at my worst, but only talks about my best. There are so many great memories we've shared together. It's hard to pick just one. I will always cherish the times you made me smile and laugh so hard my jaws hurt.

A memory that i will cherish forever is dressing you up and taking tons of pictures of you as a baby. I am beyond proud of the woman you have become. Not to mention how proud I am of you for attending my alma mater.

I have known Eduardo since I was in Dalton, Ga. He wrestled for me when I was in Dalton high. I’m proud of him for overcoming obstacles to achieve the American dream. He came to this country with little hope. I helped him back in Dalton because I saw his heart just like Julian Kaufman saw mine when I was his age. He proudly serves our country as a Marine. He has a beautiful family. He influenced me so much and how I view the world! I’m thankful for my son!

Dzenana and Nelly met in 2001 at high school social studies class. Dzenana's and Nelly friendship is the type of friendship where you do not have to talk everyday, but when we do we talk, it's as if we never missed a beat. I can always count on Dzenana to be down to earth and 100 percent real. I will never forget raiding your closet and sitting around the coffee table with your moms amazing Bosnian coffee.

I have worked with Jose for the past two years at Howard. He has a passion for improving our students lives each and every day. We have worked on the Tiger Way Initiative together to bring unity and diversity to our school and community. Due to Otero, I have learned more Spanish and how to be humble and be a better servant.

Jamon has been in my life since we were five years old. We have grown up together, played football together in college and have had plenty of family fun and gatherings. We attend UTC football games together and alumni events. My cousin is great leader in the Chattanooga community and also is a great father and husband.
